I am playing this game solo and having a lot of trouble evading the monster in chapter 1! This does not bode well.. One review stated that the monster spawns by the players, and that solo players are going to have a hard time. I presume that means that the rate of spawning does not change with the number of players. Is this true? I bought the game for the puzzles, not the monsters. Thanks.

What does it do?

Me and my friends thought it might be infinite lives, but when we put it on we still ran out of lives soooo what exactly does it do?
