Labyrinthine is a cooperative horror game developed and published by Valko Game Studios. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, the game was released onto Steam as an early access title on 28th October 2020, and fully released on 18th August 2023.
The game has two modes: Story mode and Case Files. In story mode, you play as one of up to four players who have been called to help set up a new attraction for the town fair. Once you arrive, you soon discover that a fellow employee, Joan, has decided to investigate strange disappearances on the property next to the fairground. As you follow her trail, you will quickly realise that the property has a much darker past than initially let on... Solve puzzles, collect items and run from monsters as you discover the history of the maze and escape with your life.
Case Files are completely separate from story mode, and the mazes within are procedurally generated, meaning no two mazes will be exactly alike. As you level up you'll have access to 19 different maze types and 34 monsters, many of which are not seen in story mode. Cases will also have a chance to spawn one of 300+ cosmetics that will unlock for each player to pick it up before the case is completed.
